Character Dining

Disneyland has some special tours that are an extra fun way to celebrate a birthday. Some of them you can do are the VIP tour and Walt’s Main Street Story Tour.

Wear something like a birthday shirt, birthday ears, or a birthday hat to let everyone know it’s your birthday and help you feel more celebrated.

In-Room Celebrations
If you’re staying at one of the Disney hotels, you can order an In-Room Celebration. When you check-in to your room it will have whatever you order waiting for you, like balloons, treats, drinks, and more.
Have A Spa Day
Treat yourself to a relaxing birthday at one of the Disneyland hotel spas. You do not need to stay at those hotels to book a spa service.
Tell Cast Members It’s Your Birthday
Make sure to tell Cast Members that it is your birthday. It is not guaranteed, but they might treat you to a free cupcake or a little something if they know you’re celebrating a birthday.
Dessert Party
Disneyland offers special Dessert Parties that cost extra. They are paired with special shows like fireworks, World of Color, Fantasmic, and more.
Rent A Cabana
If you’re spending your birthday at one of the Disneyland hotels instead of in the parks, you can rent a poolside cabana. They had pods and daybeds available. This will make for a really fun pool day.
