There are some really big and tall attractions and structures at Disneyland. Do you know how tall they are though? You’ll be surprised to see how far down the list the castle is!
Guardians Of The Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
Guardians Of The Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! is the tallest structure in Disneyland and California Adventure. Its height is 183 feet tall. It used to be the ride Tower of Terror, but was rethemed to this in 2018.
Pixar Pal-A-Round
Pixar Pal-A-Round is the big ferris wheel with Mickey Mouse on it in California Adventure. This attraction is 160 feet tall.
Matterhorn
Matterhorn Mountain, which is where the Matterhorn Bobsleds ride is, is 147 feet tall. It is the tallest structure in Disneyland park since the other taller structures are in California Adventure park.
Galaxy’s Edge Spires
Galaxy’s Edge has massive spires above the Millennium Falcon and the tallest one is 138 feet tall. When you’re in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge you really feel like you’re in the Star Wars movies!
Cadillac Mountain Range
The Cadillac Mountain Range is in Cars Land where the Radiator Springs Racers ride is. There are Cadillac tail fins for mountain peaks and the tallest one is 125 feet tall.
Incredicoaster
Incredicoaster is an Incredibles themed roller coaster in California Adventure park. It is 120 feet tall and it’s highest part. This ride used to be California Screamin’.
Grizzly Peak
Grizzly Peak is 110 feet tall. This is part of the attraction Grizzly River Run, which is a river rapids ride in California Adventure park.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has mountains and hoodoos throughout the ride and the tallest one is 104 feet tall.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is 87 feet tall at the part with the 5 story drop. This ride used to be Splash Mountain, then was redone to have a theme of The Princess and the Frog.
Sleeping Beauty Castle
It seems strange that the castle would come in 10th for the tallest structure in Disneyland, but this is the smallest Disney castle and it doesn’t even feel very big when you’re in front of it. Its height is 77 feet tall. The castle in Magic Kingdom in Disney World is 183 feet tall.
Space Mountain
Space Mountain is a roller coaster attraction in Tomorrowland in Disneyland. The building it is in is 76 feet tall. Space Mountain in Disney World is much taller though, at 180 feet tall.
Haunted Mansion
The Haunted Mansion ride’s building is 54 feet tall. It’s not super tall, but definitely taller than other attractions and structures throughout the parks.
