We absolutely love Disney parks and cannot get enough of going to them! They’re magical and full of fun experiences.

To be honest though, there are some things we aren’t crazy about though. In this post I’m going to tell you the things we’re sick of at Disney.
1. Using your phone for everything
You basically have to do everything in the park apps now, so you are constantly on your phone when you’re at Disneyland and Disney World.
It’s annoying that you can’t unplug and it’s frustrating that it runs your battery down so fast, so you have to have an external phone charger.
You use your phone for mobile orders, dining reservations, Lightning Lane Multi Pass, to check wait times, to use the map, to figure out when and where to meet characters, and more.
Our phone batteries can’t keep up with it!

2. Cost
This one shouldn’t be surprising, but the cost of going to Disneyland and Disney World is getting crazy! Just a few days in the parks can cost the same or more as a vacation elsewhere that is much longer.
The costs keep going up too. Ticket prices seem to go up every year or two and food and drink prices are going up across the parks too.
To save money on park tickets, we recommend buying them from Undercover Tourist to save money on each ticket.
3. Virtual Queues
Virtual queues are usually used on new or newer rides in the parks. You have to secure your virtual queue ahead of time and it can be hard to get a time you want or even a time at all.
This is frustrating because you don’t want to be planning all this out while you’re in the parks trying to enjoy your vacation.
Also, it really sucks if you can’t get a virtual queue, because then you can’t go on that ride at all.
4. Lightning Lanes
Call us old fashioned, but we miss the days of paper fast passes where you’d get in the park and hurry to Space Mountain for a fast pass.
Having to pay for lightning lanes and plan it all out ahead of time is something we’re sick of.
5. Crowds
This is another one that obviously had to be on the list. The crowds are out of control these days!
The amount of people they let into the parks seems crazy. They feel way too full. It’s hard to get around, especially if you have a stroller, like we do.
It makes the wait times so much longer too, which is frustrating.
We don’t always want to rope drop or stay till park closing, but it seems those are the only ways to avoid insane crowds and really long wait times for the attractions.
