These are all of the big things to know if you’re going to Disneyland anytime between August 25th and August 31st. This includes holidays, events, closures, and more. You’ll want to know all about them so you can plan out your Disneyland days accordingly.
Oogie Boogie Bash
Oogie Boogie Bash will be on Tuesday the 26th, Thursday the 28th, and Sunday the 31st. That means that California Adventure park will close at 6pm on those nights.
Parades
Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade happens daily in Disneyland. Paint the Night is every night in Disneyland too. This is a beautiful nighttime parade.
Nighttime Shows
Nighttime shows include Halloween Screams with projections and with fireworks, World of Color Happiness will be in California Adventure, Shadows of a Memory: A Skywalker Saga, and Tapestry of Happiness. Check the event calendar for each day for showtimes.
Other Entertainment
Mickey’s Trick and Treat is a Halloween show for little ones that happens daily in the Disney Theater in California Adventure park.
Halloween Season
Halloween time at Disneyland Resort kicked off on August 22nd, so it will be going all next week and will still be pretty new. Characters will be in costumes on Main Street, USA, there’s decor throughout the parks and Downtown Disney, Halloween foods, and so much more. See the must-try Halloween snacks this year here.
Labor Day Weekend
Labor Day is September 1st, so you can expect increased crowds from Saturday to Monday for the holiday. This is because a lot of people have a long weekend off from school and work.
Weather
The weather next week at Disneyland is showing it will be in high 80s and sunny. This is pretty hot, so most people will be wearing shorts and t-shirts or tank tops.
Halloween Overlays on Rides
There are some Halloween overlays on rides that you can enjoy this week. They are Haunted Mansion Holiday, Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween, and Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark.
Ride Closures
Star Tours – The Adventure Continues, Radiator Springs Racers, Storybook Land Canal Boats, and Casey Jr. Circus Train will all be closed for this entire week. Read more about the closures here.
Other Closures
The pathway that goes between Avengers Campus and Cars Land is closed and it is unknown when it will reopen. Also, Napa Rose is currently closed.
