Blizzard Beach 30th Anniversary

Blizzard Beach is celebrating its 30th anniversary the whole month of April, starting on April 1st. There will be special foods and drinks, dance parties, meet n greets with Mickey and Minnie in winter clothes, and more.
Flower & Garden Festival

EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival is running March 5th through June 2nd. It comes with special gardens, topiaries, exclusive menu items, entertainment, and more.
Typhoon Lagoon Reopening

Typhoon Lagoon is another Disney water park. It has been closed for a few months and will be reopening on May 1st.
It’s Tough To Be A Bug Is Closing

It’s Tough To Be A Bug is an attraction in Animal Kingdom park. It will be permanently closing on March 17th. It is going to be replaced by a new show called Zootopia: Better Zoogether! this coming winter.
Virtual Queue Changes

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure just stopped using virtual queues and are now using standard lines that you wait in.
Holidays

Holidays this spring that will have small celebrations at Disney World are St. Patrick’s Day on March 17th, Easter on April 20th, and Mother’s Day on May 11th.
Spaceship Earth Lounge

A Spaceship Earth Lounge will be opening in EPCOT soon. An exact date has not been announced, but it should be sometime this spring.
Water Park Admission For Hotel Guests

For the whole year of 2025, guests of Disney World hotels receive free water park admission to whichever water park or water parks are open. This is only valid for the day of their hotel check-in.
Ride Closures

Rides that are expected to be closed for the whole spring include Test Track, Astro Orbiter, Hall of Presidents, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. None of them currently have a reopening date that has been announced.
Spring Break Crowds

Spring break brings big crowds to Disney World. You can expect to see this in March and April, then crowds should mellow out somewhat by May.
