If you’re staying at any of the Disney World resorts or will be stopping by them to eat or walk around, there are some things you should be aware of first. These are the rules at Disney World hotels. You’ll need to follow them to stay out of trouble and not cause any problems.
Balloons Are Not Allowed At Animal Kingdom Lodge

Animal Kingdom Lodge has a lot of animals on the property and to protect them, balloons are not allowed at this hotel. They are not sold there and you are not allowed to bring your balloons. Balloons popping is too loud for the animals.
No Pool Noodles Allowed

Pool noodles are fun to use for floating around pools, but they are not allowed in the Disney World resort hotel pools. Lifeguards have pool floats, but guests are not allowed to.
Keep The Walkways Clear

You are not allowed to block walkways or paths around the resorts. This is with yourself, your stroller, or other personal belongings. Keeping the walkways clear is safer for guests and allows for better walking flow.
Do Not Hang Anything On Your Balcony

Guests are not allowed to hang swimsuits, towels, or anything else on their balcony railings. Disney does not like how this looks and takes away from the beauty of the resorts. Instead you’ll need to hang things to dry in your bathroom.
No Wagons Allowed

Wagons are not allowed at the Disney World theme parks or the hotels. They can be convenient for transporting your belongings to the pool and back or using as a stroller, but this is against the rules.
Glass Is Prohibited

Glass containers are not allowed on-property at Disney hotels because they can break easily and become a safety concern. The only exception to this is baby food jars, but be extra careful when using those.
Bikes Are Only Allowed In Specific Areas

You cannot ride bikes anywhere you want at Disney World hotels. You’ll need to keep them only in the designated biking areas to keep other guests and yourself safe.
Keep Pets On Leashes

There are Disney World resorts that are pet-friendly and allow you to bring your dog. Your pet needs to stay on a leash at all times when they are not in your room though.
Follow Service Animal Safety Rules

Service Animals are allowed, but need to follow some rules at the Disney hotels. They are now allowed to go in water fountains and other water features and they need to have a leash on at all times. If you’re bringing a service animal, then you’ll need to read about the rules for them before going.
Quiet Time Hours

The Disney World resort hotels have designated quiet hours daily from 11pm to 7am. Keep noise levels down and respect the other guests trying to sleep during those hours.
