Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California have a lot of the same rides. Some of them are identical, while others are different. They can be longer, have different queues, or just different details. These are the rides that are better at Disney World than Disneyland.
Dumbo The Flying Elephant
Dumbo The Flying Elephant is a spinning ride in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom and at Disneyland. The ride is the same, but the queue at Disney World is way better considering it has a playground in it that little ones can play on while waiting for the ride.
Jungle Cruise
The Jungle Cruise is an attraction in Adventureland in Magic Kingdom and Disneyland. The Disney World version is better for a couple of reasons. It has extra scenes that the Disneyland version doesn’t have and the best reason of all is that at Christmas time it turns into the Jingle Cruise, which is a Christmas themed version of Jungle Cruise. They do not do Jingle Cruise at Disneyland.
The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh feels more classic and nostalgic at Disney World than at Disneyland. The Disney World queue is more interactive and fun too.
Astro Orbiter
Astro Orbiter is a spinning ride in Tomorrowland at Disneyland and Magic Kingdom. It’s a very similar ride, but Disney World wins this one because of the better views it has. You can see Cinderella’s Castle, Space Mountain, and more.
Under The Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid
Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid in Magic Kingdom is the same ride as The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure in California Adventure. The Magic Kingdom version has a prettier facade outside and the queue is a lot better. It is very detailed and intricate, while the California Adventure version of the ride is very simple.
Toy Story Mania!
Toy Story Mania at Hollywood Studios in Disney World is the same ride as Toy Story Midway Mania in California Adventure. The ride queues are very different though. The Disney World version is much more grand and is hard to beat.
