If you’re going to The Disneyland Resort in July, then you’ll want to know some important things before your summer vacation starts. These are the California Adventure and Disneyland ride closures for July 2025.
Matterhorn Bobsleds
Matterhorn Bobsleds closed in May for some refurbishment. It will most likely be closed until at least sometime this fall. It is an iconic roller coaster located in Fantasyland in Disneyland.
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Storybook Land Canal Boats is a classic Fantasyland attraction in Disneyland park. It will be closing on July 21st for an unknown period of time.
Star Tours
Star Tours The Adventure Continues will be closing on June 30th. The reopening date is unknown, but it will definitely be closed for at least some of July. It is a Star Wars themed attraction located in Tomorrowland in Disneyland. This ride is still available in Disney World right now though. See a list of Disney World closures for July 2025 here.
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is a fun area for kids that is located in the Grizzly Peak area of California Adventure park. It will close on July 21, 2025 to have some maintenance done.
Pixar Pal-A-Round
Pixar Pal-A-Round will be closing on July 14th for refurbishment. It is unknown when the reopening date of this California Adventure attraction is. See the full list of Disneyland closures for July here including closures that are not rides.
Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln
Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln closed permanently a while ago, but will come back as Walt Disney – A Magical Life. This will start on Disneyland’s 70th birthday, which is July 17, 2025.
Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room
Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room is currently closed and has been since the spring. It does not yet have a reopening date, but will likely be closed for at least some of July. It is located in Adventureland in Disneyland park.
