What Is A Macaron?
You may be wondering what exactly a macaron is. These little treats are called macarons or French macaroons. Macarons are two little sandwich cookies put together with a cream in the middle.
Common ingredients in a macaron are egg whites, heavy whipping cream, almond flour, powdered sugar, granulated sugar, and food coloring.
Equipment you would need to make them are a stand mixer to mix the batter, baking sheets, parchment paper, and a bowl.
These aren’t something you can make from a recipe in minutes. They take a lot of time and recipes for them are hard to master.

Where To Get Disneyland Macarons
I’ll tell you where to get Disney macarons in Disneyland, Disney California Adventure Park, and Downtown Disney.
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe

This is the most popular dining spot to get a Mickey macaron in Disneyland because this is where you get the classic Mickey macarons. It’s called the Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron. It has fresh raspberries and rose water in it.
These raspberry rose macarons are way too cute. They’re red, Mickey shaped, and have a brush of gold or silver on the macaron shells.
This is our family’s favorite Disneyland macaron! The fresh raspberries pair perfectly with the sweet macaron shell and filling.
You can mobile order them, which we recommend doing since they’re one of the most popular items on the Jolly Holiday Bakery menu and they sell out fast.
Place your mobile order in the morning and choose a pickup time that’s convenient for you. This way you can guarantee that you’ll get one without having to go pick it up first thing in the morning.
We picked ours up at lunch time with a few other yummy treats and a coffee.
At Halloween time they have had a Mickey mummy macaron before. It’s the perfect little spooky treat!
They usually have seasonal macarons too, like a s’mores macaron, chocolate strawberry macarons, cookies and cream macarons, and a Santa Hat macaron during Christmas time.
