These are all of the Disneyland closures for January 2026 that have been announced so far. More can be added to the list at any time because Disneyland does not always give a lot of notice about closures. It’s good to know these before your January trip so you can plan around them.
Haunted Mansion Holiday
Haunted Mansion Holiday will be closing January 12, 2026. The last day to experience this till next season is January 11th. It will reopen on January 23rd as the normal version of Haunted Mansion.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Galaxy’s Edge is closing on January 20th for maintenance. It does not have a reopening date yet and it is unknown if this will be a quick or lengthy closure.
It’s A Small World
It’s A Small World Holiday in Disneyland is closing January 26th, so the last day to go on it is January 25th. It does not have an official reopening date, but this closure usually lasts 1-2 weeks while they change the ride back to the normal version of It’s A Small World.
The Incredicoaster
California Adventure park has a few ride closures starting on January 5th and The Incredicoaster is one of them. It is unknown when this ride will reopen.
Grizzly River Run
Grizzly River Run in California Adventure park is also closing on January 5th. It does not have a reopening date yet.
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind is the third California Adventure ride closing on January 5th and will reopen on January 23rd.
Mark Twain Riverboat
Mark Twain Riverboat in Disneyland will be closed for a few days from January 12th through 15th.
Napa Rose
Napa Rose is a restaurant in the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This restaurant has been closed for a while and should open in the spring of 2026.
Pathway Between Cars Land and Avengers Campus
The walkway that allows guests to quickly go from Cars Land to Avengers Campus is currently closed. This is due to construction on the Avengers Campus expansion where they are adding two new rides to the land.
Upcoming Closures
Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue is permanently closing in early 2026. An exact date has not been announced yet for this closure, but I will post about it when we have a date.
