1. Know the Banned Items

prohibited items such as a gun and knife

Save yourself time and hassle by reading Disney’s official list of banned items.

Thing you cannot bring into the parks include selfie sticks and anything made of glass. These items will not make it past security.

You’ll get through security much quicker by not having any items from the banned list in you bags.

2. Get Your Bag Ready

Before you even get to the security checkpoint, take a minute to get your bag ready. Remove it from your shoulder or back and open all of the zippers.

The quicker they can go through your bags, the quicker you’ll get into the parks.

3. Organize Your Bag

Once you’re at the security table, place your bag down with everything wide open and accessible.

If you have a smaller bag or fanny pack inside of a backpack, you’ll need to remove it and open those zippers too.

4. Pocket Essentials

If you’re carrying items in your pockets, remove them and put them in your bag. By consolidating your belongings, you’ll get through security quicker.

5. Remove Personal Items

As you approach the metal detector, you’ll want to remove your belt and any bulky items like mint tins or glasses cases from your bag.

Doing these little things makes the process much quicker.

6. Take Everything Out Of Your Stroller

If you’re traveling with a stroller, don’t have loose items in the stroller seats, cup holders, or the bottom storage areas.

Put everything in bags, then when you get to security you can pull out the bags rather than pulling out all the different items.

Try to pull your bags out of the stroller a little before it’s your turn at security if possible.

Conclusion

With these expert tips in mind, you’ll be able to go through Disney park security like a pro.

You’ll get into the Disney parks much quicker if you do these simple things.

So, pack your bags, double-check your pockets, and get ready for a super fun day!
