Disney is making some updates to Alien Swirling Saucers. This is a ride in Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios.
The ride structure itself is not changing, but the ride is getting a Toy Story 5 overlay.

The music, the name, and some theming are what is changing on this ride.
The new name will be Alien Swirling Saucers: Lilypad’s Jams. So they are just adding Lilypad’s Jams to the end of the ride name. Lilypad will act as the DJ on this attraction.
The changes for this ride will start on September 25, 2026.

It is going to have new music playing. Some of the songs will be You’ve Got A Friend in Me, We Belong Together from Toy Story 3, and I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away from Toy Story 5.
There will also be some new songs titled “Spin It Back, Lilypad” and “Pizza Planet Promo”.
There will also be a huge Lilypad next to the entrance of the ride. The big Lilypad will show home videos of the toys, guessing games, and puzzles on it.

These changes are fun for kids who love Toy Story 5 since Lilypad was introduced in that movie. Some guests have expressed that it doesn’t make sense since Toy Story Land is Andy’s backyard and Lilypad is Bonnie’s toy.
