Oogie Boogie Bash
Oogie Boogie Bash is in California Adventure on September 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, and 29th. California Adventure will close at 6pm on those dates.
Halloween Time goes all month
The Halloween season will go for all of September and October. There’s a big Mickey pumpkin and decor on Main Street, Halloween foods, Halloween merch, Haunted Mansion Holiday, and more.
Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade
Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade parade is daily at 1:30 and 2:45pm.
Halloween Screams
The nighttime show Halloween Screams is at the castle every night. There will be fireworks 9/4-7, 11-13, 18-20, 25-27 and projections 9/1-3, 8-10, 14-17, 21-24, 28-30.
Nighttime Entertainment
Other nighttime entertainment includes Fantasmic, Fire of the Rising Moons, Shadows of a Memory, and Tapestry of Happiness.
World of Color ONE
California Adventure has World of Color ONE at 9pm on nights without Oogie Boogie Bash.
Lower crowds
You can expect to see lower crowds in the month of September.
Weather
The average September weather at Disneyland is not much rain, highs in the 80s, and lows in the 60s.
Ride Closures
Indiana Jones Adventure is closing 9/8 with no reopening date. Mad Tea Party is closing 9/14 with no reopening date. Sailing Ship Columbia will be closed 9/21-24. Mark Twain Riverboat will be closed 9/8-11.
Other Closures
Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition is closed, but reopening 9/11. Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer Island will be closed 9/14-16. Minnie & Friends Breakfast in the Park at Plaza Inn is closed, but will return in
late September. Chiller at Paradise Gardens Park is closed and has no reopening date yet. Meet Tinker Bell at Pixie Hollow is closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The walkway between Cars Land and Avengers Campus is closed with no reopening date.
