DinoLand USA
All of DinoLand USA in Animal Kingdom will close permanently on February 2nd. The last day to visit this land in February 1st. They are changing this area to a Tropical Americas land.
DINOSAUR
DINOSAUR, an attraction in DinoLand USA, will permanently close on February 2, 2026. The last day to experience this attraction is February 1, 2026.
Restaurantosaurus
Restaurantosaurus, a restaurant in DinoLand, USA will close permanently on February 2, 2026. This area is changing to a Tropical Americas Land. Read about the new rides coming to this land and more here.
Frozen Ever After
Frozen Ever After in the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT will close on January 26th and reopen sometime in February. They are changing the animatronics on the ride. Read about the changes coming to this ride and more Disney World rides here.
The Fjording Shop
The Fjording Shop in the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT is also closing on January 26th. It will likely open in February when Frozen Ever After does.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom is currently closed and has been since January 2025. It should reopen in the spring of 2026.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin closed in August 2025 for some big updates. It should reopen in the spring of 2026.
Blizzard Beach
Blizzard Beach water park is currently closed and reopening on February 15th. It is unknown how long it will stay open for, but it is confirmed to be open for the summer.
Typhoon Lagoon
Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is open, but closing on February 15th. It could potentially be closed for months. It will for sure be open this summer, but it is unknown if it will have another closure before that.
Walt Disney World Railroad Frontierland Station
The Walt Disney World Railroad is currently only operating between Fantasyland and Main Street. The station in Frontierland is closed due to the construction in that land.
Animation Courtyard
Animation Courtyard in Hollywood Studios closed in September 2025. It is changing to Walt Disney Studios and will reopen in the late summer of 2026.
Upcoming Closures
Rock n Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will permanently close on March 2, 2026. It will change to Rock n Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets and reopen in the summer of 2026.
