Disneyland and Disney World are both amazing places to visit. They have some of the same experiences and they each have unique ones too.
In this article I’ll tell you some of the cool things you can do at Disneyland that you can’t do at Disney World.
1. Walk Where Walt Disney Walked
Walt Disney himself designed this park and oversaw the imagineering of many of the attractions. It’s fun to be in Disneyland and know that you’re somewhere Walt Disney was and loved.
2. See Walt’s Apartment
You can find Walt Disney’s apartment that he would stay in above the firehouse on Main Street, USA.
To find it, choose the left side when you enter the park and it’ll be on the left just past Guest Services.

3. Park Hop By Walking
Disneyland and California Adventure park have entrances right across from each other, so you can easily walk between them.
The parks at Disney World are much farther apart, so you’ll need some form of transportation to go between them.
4. Walk Through Sleeping Beauty’s Castle
Sleeping Beauty’s castle at Disneyland is much smaller than Cinderella’s castle at Disney World. That’s not the only difference though.
Here you can do a quick walk through and see the stained glass windows that tell the story of Sleeping Beauty.
5. Eat A Raspberry Rose Macaron
This iconic treat is exclusive to Disneyland. You can get it at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe on Main Street.
Place a mobile order in the morning because these do sell out since they’re so delicious.
6. Toontown
Toontown is a super cute area for kids to play! You can meet lots of characters, go inside Mickey and Minnie’s houses, eat at Cafe Daisy, and play in the fountain.
